In the Name of God Amen, I Joseph McMath of the County of Warren and State of Georgia being weak in body but sound in mind and memory do
make ordain and constitute this as my last Will and Testament (To Wit)
1st, tis my Will that all my just debts should be paid by me Executors out of my Estate as soon as Convenient. 2d, I give and devise to my beloved
Wife Elizabeth McMath one Hundred acres of Land where I now life to be nearly square also two Negro men Jarrard and Tom one Negro woman
named Poll also all my cattle horses and hogs my Household and Kitchen furniture with all their increase with two Barshear ploughs and one Shovel
plough with Iron to find them in good order to my said Wife her life time then to be refunded back to the said Estate of my Heirs
3d, I give and devise to my Grand Daughter Sally Barbaree five hundred Dollars
4th and the balance of my property and effects to be Equally Divided amongst my Heirs
5th and I do hereby Appoint my Wife Elizabeth McMath and William McMath my Son to be my Executors to this my last Will and Testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of August One thousand eight hundred and twenty four
In presence of Hachaliah McMath, Elijah McMath, Claburn Wall
September 5th 1825 - Appeared in Open Court Hachaliah McMath Elijah McMath and Claburn Wall who being duly sworn saith that they saw
Joseph McMath the Testator to the within Instrument of Writing sign seal publish and pronounce that said Instrument as his last Will and Testament
that at the time of his so doing he was (in their Opinion) of sound and disposing mind and memory and that in his presence and the presence of each
other and at the request of the Testator that all became Witnesses thereto
