SANDERSVILLE PROGRESS - July 14, 1932 - James W. Waller Died in Tennille

Mr. James Wesley Waller passed away Saturday at his residence in Tennille after a long and useful life of 87 years. He had been in failing health for several years but his last illness was for a few weeks past when his strength gradually waned until the end came.

He was a member of the Methodist church, and held the highest esteem and respect of all who knew him. Much sympathy goes out to the bereaved wife, who before her marriage was Miss Florence Davis.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, and in the absence of Rev. C.F. Starnes, pastor of the Methodist church, were conducted by Rev. R.D. Hodges.

Burial was in the old cemetery in Sandersville, and Rev. J.A. Harmon, Methodist pastor, assisted in the services there. Mr. M.G. Smith had charge of the funeral.
