SANDERSVILLE PROGRESS - October 1964 - Carl Wright Sr.

Funeral services for Carl Wright Sr., 50, who died Sunday in the Baldwin County Memorial Hospital following a short illness, will be held at 3 pm Monday in the Sister's Baptist Church.

The Rev. Bill Deakins and the Rev. Ernest L. Veal will officiate, with burial in the Washington County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estelle Helton Wright; one son, Carl S. Wright of Sandersville; one daughter, Mrs. John Jackson of Tennille; his mother, Mrs. Kate S. Wright of Sandersville; two brothers, Talmadge Wright and C.C. Wright, both of Sandersville; four sisters, Mrs. Morgan Mills of Sandersville, Mrs. Dan Walker of Alto, Mich., Mrs. G.W. Stevens of Felton, S.C., and Mrs. David Chambers of Columbus; and three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mayo Funeral Home of Sandersville has charge of arrangements. The body will be at the funeral home until one hour before the services.
