William A Britton, has lived in Georgia continuously since the Spring of 1863.  Served as a private in Company B or E, 4th Regt GA Cavalry. While engaged in military service while in the state of Tennessee...in crossing the Tennessee River near Louden, my horse was branded off the bank in the rush and fell on me, disabling me in the hip and left wrist and not knowing the attentions of a physician at the time to --- They remain in that condition at the present time.  The left hip pains me all the time, so I am unable to do labor of any kind. 23 June 1890.

Widows Affidavit: Rebecca Britton, Widow of William A Britton to whom she married Bradley County TN, 22 July 1847.  He died Feb 15, 1907, Whitfield County, he was an invalid. Afflicted with old age, am nearly 80 years old, will be on the 25th of next week.  Owns nothing but a cow, has lived with children. 3 Jan 1908.

Personally appeared Sam C Britton, who being duly first duly sworn deposes and says that the following expenses were incurred by him as funeral expenses of his mother, Mrs Rebecca Britton:

Coffin $35.00

Hack, hire to the expenses $4.00

Total $39.00
