Whitfield County:

Personally appeared C S Echols who on oath says that B W Echols was his brother and was placed on the indigent pension roll of the state of Georgia for confederate Soldier for the year 1908, that the said B W Echols lay sick at his house for four or five weeks from about the 20th of Dec 1907 up to Jan 7 1908 when he died. That he had the entire care of nursing and caring for the said B W Echols during his last sickness. That the nursing was worth $20.00; coffin and undertakers bill cost $22.00, paid out for clothing (burial) $1.75; burial permit $2.50, and one two seated surry $1.00; totaled $47.75. Sworn to and subscribed before me: Jan 28, 1908, Jose Bogle, County Ordinary.
