Mrs Martha C Hall, widow of JH or JJH Hall, who was part of Company S, 2nd SC Rifles.  They were married Anderson SC, 3 Aug 1866 and he died 10 Dec 1910, was a resident of Whitfield County at the time of his death.  He had 104 acres at the time of his death which was worth $800 and personal property worth about $100.  She has been a resident of Whitfield County since 1892.

Sworn statement dated 24 July 1911, Jefferson Co AL of Mrs Della K Thomson and Mira W Crumley that they were present at the marriage of Martha C Keys and John J H Hall, 3 April 1866, that they were married by Rev David Humphreys in Anderson County SC.

Application for Pension Due to a Deceased Prisoner: H C Kennemer says he knew Mrs Martha Hall of Whitfield County, that she died 11 Dec 1931 and that she left insufficient estate to pay funeral expenses.  Expenses: Casket and hearse $92.00 and dress $8.00, totaling $100.00
