This Indenture made this twenty fifth (fifth lined out) first day of December Eighteen hundred and ten. between Benjamin Fry of the County of Wilkes of the one part and William McLaughlin of the County of Oglethorpe of the other part. Witnesseth that the said B. Fry for and in consideration of(?) the sum of nine hundred to him in hand paid by the said William McLaughlin the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto the said William McLaughlin his heirs and assigns a certain tract of Land in Wilkes County containing two hundred acres be the land more or less lying on the waters of long creek Beginning on a R. oak corner at the Top of the mountain thence on East (NR) to Reeves Line thence S. on Reeves line to a R. oak corner thence on Milners line to a R. oak corner on the big(?) Road then crossing the said Road to the head of a branch leading to (NR) Reeves then across(?) said Reeves line to the beginning corner. To have and to hold the said tract of land and premises with the appurtenances and every part thereof I do warrant and defend the same to the said McLaughlin his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple In Witness whereof the said B. Personally came and appeared John Moore of this County who being duly sworn
maketh oath and saith that he is a Subscribing witness to this within written

Milner and William Brooks subscribe their names as witnesses thereto
