Rev. James Fowler Rev. James Fowler was born September 5, 1847/died February 11, 1905 as a slave in South Carolina. I am a descendent of the Fowler Family. My great-great-great grandmother (Diner Fowler) who was born in 1802 and her five children were all members of St. James Baptist Church of Oakfield, Georgia. Her children's names were Rev. James Fowler, Edmund Fowler, Israel Fowler, Peter Fowler and Hester Fowler Clark. All but Edmund Fowler raised their families in Oakfield. My descendents are buried at St. James Church's cemetery. Henry and Catherine Fowler My grandparents who are Henry and Catherine Fowler. Henry was born January 9, 1876/ died June 2, 1948 and Catherine August 29, 1878/died October 23, 1939.
