Rootsweb Taylor County List Ended

As of March 2020, Ancestry-Rootsweb County List will no longer be active. The messages previously sent will remain. Now, Rootsweb now has created a "secure" system so you'll need to create your password for ALL of Rootsweb, if you have not done this already. The password is NOT just for Taylor County....but for all of Rootsweb. BE SURE TO KEEP it written down, so you'll have it.

The GATaylor County mailing List has been active since 1998!

Link takes you to ALL the Messages ever posted for Taylor County Georgia List. Look at the left hand Side Bar for the specific year.
At top of page use "Search this list" with magnifying glass. Type in surname, place name, topic.
Once you are on that page, "sort by ...." allows you choose the ORDER you want to see these messages. "Sort by latest first" brings up the most recent messages.

The left hand side column gives the YEARS. Selecting a Year brings you to MONTHS. Some years, there weren't many messages posted. 


1) Use Quotes around the Subject Line that you are searching for.
"Amerson Family Cemetery"  " Baptist Minister Look-Up"    or  just the Surname    i.e.   Ruffin


IMPORTANCE OF SUBJECT LINE WHEN YOU POST
The Search Engines only search the "subject line".....so that is a reason
why it is so important for your subject line to be clear, i.e.   "John
Ruffin family"   or "Snakebite Township"

A generic  "Surnames"  or  forgetting to include a subject at all,  won't be
as helpful.
