Faye Juanita "Nita" Luke Clements

Juanita Luke Clements, 90, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, July 29, 2019, at Pruitt Health in Ocilla.

Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Luke Cemetery in {Ben Hill} County, Georgia, with the
Rev. Ronny Griner and Elder Edward McIntyre officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at
the funeral home in Fitzgerald.

Mrs. Clements was born March 10, 1929, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late R. Louis & Thelma Williams Luke. She
graduated high school in Irwin County in 1947 and received her nurse’s training at Ben Hill County Hospital. She
worked as a licensed practical nurse in Dublin and Claxton and also Irwin County Hospital and Palemon Gaskins Memorial
Nursing Home in Ocilla. She was a member of Abba Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Bobby & Mokana Clements of Ocilla and Linda Faye & Jimmy Shealey of
Peachtree City; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and twins on the way; a
sister, Lillian Cleghorn of Apopka, Florida; and two brothers: Gene & Betsy Luke of Fitzgerald and Jimmy & Anita Luke
of Benson, North Carolina. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, James Robert Clements; a son, David Larry Clements; and a sister, Arbie Luke Palmer.
