This indenture made this (17) Seventeenth day of October in the Year of Our Lord Eighteen Hundred & Seventy Four between Jas T. Ellis of said County & State of the one part & Jas. R. Ellis on of the said J. T. Ellis for & in consideration of the Natural love & affection which he has & bears to his son J. R. Ellis hath given granted & conveyed & does by these presents give grant & convey unto the said JR Ellis his heirs & assigns all of that land situate lying & being in the third district Henry County now Spalding County known by the Number 67. Sixty Seven. North half of said lot, the South line being the McIntosh Road, & the branch that crosses the said road, the South east line of said half lot. Said lot containing one hundred one & one half acres, more or les, to have & to hold the above described property unto him the said Jas. R. Ellis in fee simple and the said Jas. T. Ellis, for himself, his heirs, Executors & administrators, the said granted & conveyed premises unto the said J. R. Ellis his heirs & assigns will warrant & forever defend the right & title thereof against themselves & against the Claims of all other persons whatsoever.
