            Spalding  )        Sixty Five and 42/100 Dollars to me in hand paid

            County    )        this the Third day January Eighteen Hundred and

            Eighty Nine, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  I

            have and do by these presents sell convey and transfer all of

            my rights and monied  interest  in my Father,  James T.

            Ellis Estate and that of his estates interest in the remainder in

            the William Ellis estate's property now held in trust for Mrs.

            Lucy Wilkins by James R. Ellis as the Executor of my Father's

            will, both real and personal to N. B. Drewry his heirs and

            assigns,  and  I  do now relinquish all of my entire rights

            and  interest  in  said estate  for  the  above  consideration.

            Witness my hand and seal this day and year above written.

Whereas, By virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the County Court of Spalding County at the suite of E. S. Snider successor R. E. Snider transferee against R. A. Ellis, I M. J. Patrick sheriff of the County first aforesaid, did lately seize the lot or parcel of land hereinafter described as the property of the said R. A. Ellis & this same having been duly and publicly advertised according to law in The Morning Call a newspaper published at Griffin, Ga. did on the First Tuesday of March in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Four before the Court House door in said County expose the same at public outcry, when N. B. Drewry being the highest & best bidder the same was knocked off to him, at the price & sum of four hundred and fifty dollars.  Now This Indenture made the 6 day of March in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Four between M. J. Patrick (sheriff of said County of the one part, and the said N. B. Drewry of the County of Spalding and State of Georgia of the other part, Witnesseth, That the said M. J. Patrick, Sheriff of for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars, to him in hand paid, at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted bargained sold & conveyed, and does by these presents, grant, bargain, sell & convey unto the said N. B. Drewry his heirs & assigns, all that, tract or parcel of land known & described as follows:  One hundred acres of land, being the West half of land lot No. 93, being in the 1069th Dist. G.M. Spalding County, bounded as follows:  North by lands of R. J. Manley, East by lands of Mullins, West by lands of S. Grantland & South by lands of John Ransom, To Have and to Hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said N. B. Drewry, his heirs & assigns,  together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereto belonging, or in any way appertaining to him & their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple, in as fully & ample a manner as the said R. A. Ellis could or might have held & enjoyed the same had it not been seized & sold as aforesaid.  In Testimony Whereof I the said M. J. Patrick, Sheriff, as aforesaid, have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year above written.
