SHILOH BAPTIST CEMETERY

Shiloh Baptist Cemetery is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Dallas Highway and the East-West Connector. The church was demolished years ago, and the cemetery is now surrounded by commercial development. New burials still occaisionaly occur, and while it is not overgrown with brush, it is not well mowed.

Most stones are reasonably intact, though this cemetery contains a large proportion of graves (about 30%) which are marked by fieldstones on which no name was ever engraved. Only stones with names are included here. The Shiloh Baptist Cemetery was transcribed and photographed in September/October of 2005 by Greg Hamblin.
