To Submit your transcriptions:

The Greene County sites depend on volunteers to transcribe their work.  Please, do NOT include any person still living to protect their identity.  Do transcribe original source material you have such as listed below.  There are other sources beside those listed, so contact me if you have any doubts. 

DO NOT TRANSCRIBE COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER.  COPYRIGHTS LAST 75 YEARS AND THIS INCLUDES ANY ARTICLE IN NEWSPAPERS.  For help getting permission to reprint online, do contact me.

Please contact me to send transcriptions of Bible records, published biographies, church records, cemetery surveys and photos, census transcriptions, court records such as guardianships, estate papers, probate, and wills, land and deed records including slave transactions, military records, newspaper articles of genealogical interest including obituaries, photographs of people and places in Greene County, and transcriptions of birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates and social security records of deceased persons.  Family histories or family trees are welcome as well.
