Gresham Family Cemetery
Directions: From the intersection of SR 11 and Whitney Road, go 1.45 miles to the cemetery on the right at the corner of Whitney and Alcovy Roads. This cemetery is on what was on part of the Gresham family farm.
There is a cement wall around the cemetery and there are small rocks embedded in the top of the wall. Pictures were taken in August 2010--the cemetery had just been cleaned for the celebration of the 100 anniversary of the James Monroe Gresham Chapter (#1312) of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Ms. Annette Wade, great-granddaughter of James Monroe Gresham, was the surprise guest for the celebration. She was kind enough to contribute the photographs and information on this page.
