and sisters: William Tullis (1786), Mary Tullis(1800), John Morris
Tullis. (1810), Simpson Tullis (1812) and Moses Tullis (1817).
Married or bonded to: Prettyman Berry Children: John F. Berry (1848), Elisah Berry and Lucy Berry (1850), Simon Berry(1855), Mary Ann Berry (1861). Also, step-son, Clayborn Berry (1844)? 1822 - South Carolina - Elizabeth was born to Sarah and John Tullis. 1847 - Georgia - Elizabeth married Prettyman Berry in Gwinette County, Georgia on March 25, 1847. Prettyman posted a public bond for her the month prior to the marriage. 1848 - Georgia - Elizabeth gave birth to her first son, John F. Berry. 1850 - Georgia - In January, Elizabeth is living with her husband Prettyman Berry and their two year old son, John F. Berry. Living with them is Elizabeth's mother, Sarah Tullis. Sarah is listed as imote. 1850 - Georgia - Later in the year, Elizabeth gave birth to twins, a boy, Elisah and a girl, Lucy. 1855 - Georgia - Elizabeth gave birth to Simon. 1861 - Georgia - Elizabeth gives birth to Mary Ann. 1862 - Georgia - Elizabeth dies from complications due to childbirth on October 21, 1862. She and the baby (possibly twins) die during labor. Her brother John writes her death in his bible. ************************************ *Elizabeth and Sarah are thought to be buried in the cemetery at Hog Mountain, Georgia. Elizabeth's brother John Morris Tullis is buried there, along with their family. Elizabeth and Sarah's tombstones were destroyed during the Civil War and their records were burnt.
